With over 30+ specialties and many more distinctive specialties to choose from, PADI Specialty Instructors get to teach divers to take part of more activities while underwater. Whether it’s deep diving, wreck diving, underwater photography or underwater cleanups, there’s a specialty to fit any interest.
Specialty Instructors must have the requisite training and experience in their area of interest, including having completed the required number of dives*, and apply to teach the specialty.
Verify an individual PADI Member’s credential status here: https://bit.ly/PADIProChek. PADI Members must be renewed and authorized to conduct PADI courses and programs.
*Number of dives is determined by specialty and the prerequisites outlined in the PADI Instructor Manual.
