Earning Criteria
Required
PADI Course Directors who meet the requirements of the related specialty course and agree to use the PADI System may become a PADI Specialty Instructor Trainer.
To become a Specialty Instructor Trainer, you must:
• Be a PADI Course Director
• Teach the PADI Specialty certification in the specialty area.
• Agree to use the PADI Specialty Course Instructor Guides or submit an instructor-authored outline to your PADI Office for review.
• Other prerequisites may apply to some specialties.
